Maynard-Brewer 7.5 - Did well and can see why managment rate himMatthews - 6 Very comfortable defending but typically no end product or impetus when attacking.Inniss - 5.5 One or two timely interceptions but generally looked a bit cumbersome (one pretty bad mistake). Think he was out-done a bit for their goal...seemed to be wandering.Barker - 8 Looked very accomplished although oddly, Famewo seems to bring out the best in Inniss. The back-heel volley at the end was superb. Scouts will have taken note of that today and I expect bids to follow in January.Purrington - 6 Defended ok but was poor going forward 1st half. Quite a good header saved by their keeper.Forster-Caskey - 6 Quite good for 20 mins then faded until HT. Got into it better 2nd half but was lucky to escape 2nd yellow.Morgan - 6.5 Did ok and lasted the 90 no problem.Levitt - 6 Brushed aside several times by Camara in the 1st half and we were lucky that didn't cost us. Passed the ball pretty well 2nd half and seemed to get into it a lot more.Williams - 5.5 A collector's item 90 mins but didn't achieve a great deal.Aneke 5.5 - Some great touches in the 1st 15 mins but faded badly and seem to let frustration manifest itself quickly into disinterest.Maddison - 6 Not too bad for someone with no football behind him. That should do him. Was the most likely to make things happen 1st half but took some wrong options.Washington - 7 Looked pretty sharp and showed some excellent touches. Looks a player in form.Vennings - 7.5 Very impressed with his energy and passing. He did himself no harm at all and could get that last spot on the bench in future.Ref - 6.5 Probably should have sent JFC off.0

Maynard-Brewer: 7.5 - dealt with everything comfortably. saved a couple of our players blushes, in particular Inniss.
Matthews: 6.5 - got better as the game went on however his final ball needs some work.
Barker: 8 - solid. great heading and some last ditch blocks.
Inniss: 6 - good first half. as others have said a lack of composure and didn't read the game/oppostion as well as Barker.
Purrington: 6 was caught out of position a few times, got better in the second half. needed support as he often had two players against him and Levitt wasn't up to it.
Forster-Caskey: 6.5 payed well in patches with some break up play and good passing. then he disappears a bit.
Morgan: 7 pressured the ball well and had some flashes of what he is obviously capable of. possibly a bit more freedom in the middle would help him to use his abilities of passing and vision more consistently.
Levitt: 5.5 first half he lost his man 3 times in a row. got booked. he did get better in second half with some nice passing and touches but some of them went awry.
Williams: 4.5 hardly got the ball in the first half. last half an hour came to life a bit more but his final pass was awful.
Aneke: 5 can hold the ball well enough but was clumsy once on the ball. no real support.
Maddison: 5.5 looking to score a wonder goal. his crossing was easy for the defenders to read.
Washington: 6.5 lively.
Vennings: 7 good passing and link up play. also can track back. ahead of Levitt.

Williams: 6 Stayed on his feet & also played 90 mins (allelujah), lots of huff & puff, no end product.
Aneke: 6 Looks better when coming on as a sub.
Maddison: 5.5 Obviously not fit & a bit too selfish at times.
Washington: 7 Did well when he came on.
Vennings: 7.5 Changed the game when he came on, best CAFC game, was excellent.

Matthews: 7 - got stronger and more effective as the game went on. A class act
Barker: 8: MoM - a fine all round display, almost capped by an improvised equaliser
Inniss: 5.5 - one error could have cost us dear but he was baled out by Maynard-Brewer. Needs to work on his distribution
Purrington: 5 - a weak performance although he did at least force their goalie into his first save of the game near the end
Forster-Caskey: 5 - off the pace and generally pedestrian. Was a little fortunate not to collect a second yellow card
Morgan: 6.5 - got stuck in and closed down well when we were out of possession
Levitt: 5 - a few neat passes but certain shortcomings in his game are likely to leave us exposed
Williams: 5 - made no impact on the game and lacks the pace to play out wide
Aneke: 5.5 - started well but grew increasingly frustrated. In mitigation, he had very little support against three central defenders
Maddison: 5.5 - a few promising moments but his anxiety to try and score got the better of him and his timing and delivery were a little off. I'm sure he'll get sharper
Washington: 7 - his mobility and energy made a big difference
Vennings: 7.5 - very impressive. Good positional awareness, sees a pass and put over a lovely cross for Purrington's header
Referee: 7 - got a little pedantic towards the end but pretty good
