Is that Robert De Niro second left?1

My brother is second from the left in the photo. He has been there since 1997. He has had trips back to the UK to get to the Valley.Baldybonce said:Can we have names to faces and how they ended up in Auckland?4 -

Proud to say the guy with the glasses and beard in the middle is my best mate Owen. I took him to his 1st game, which was the last at Upton Park against Newcastle. He was 22 when he moved to New Zealand for 6 months, met his wife and never left5

I was jokingly referring to him being described as a bird.Addickted said:SoundAsa£ said:

I’m the one furthest to the left. Met a Kiwi bird back in 2000 in London and the rest is history.Baldybonce said:Can we have names to faces and how they ended up in Auckland?0 -

I’m not in the picture . I don’t get to Auckland very often... on account of Aucklanders probably mostly supporting Milwall if you take my point.Danepak said:

@jamescafc (who’s currently living in Vietnam), did fly back for the big game.
Hoping to have him back in Auckland soon.3 -

Saj, Peter, Stuart, Owen (me), Peter, Christian. I went to NZ back is 1999 for a 1 year holiday, loved it and stayed. 21 years for me now. Started supporting Charlton aged 14, home and away trips with this great bloke https://forum.charltonlife.com/profile/maidstoneaddick old North stand, F-block season ticket holders and regular song starters. Curbs era, promotion and relegation joys/sadness. Was at Wembley when we beat Sunderland to go up to the Prem. Met this fine group of Addicks over the years here in Auckland, flying the flag from 12000 Miles away.Baldybonce said:Can we have names to faces and how they ended up in Auckland?19 -

David Beckham and his croneys dined at the Monsoon Poon in Wellington when the LA Galaxy played An exhibition game here a few years ago. That’s not very interesting is it.1

I have a friend in New Plymouth who supports Charlton and he always fits in a visit to The Valley or Canterbury (Kent) or even both occasionally, dependent on the season, when he is in England. How close is New Plymouth to Auckland? I just know that both are North Island.1

360km according to Google Maps.

I didn’t know that it was a chain. Apart from the firecracker chicken, the rest of the food we had was amazing and I would certainly visit again.Blackheathen said:David Beckham and his croneys dined at the Monsoon Poon in Wellington when the LA Galaxy played An exhibition game here a few years ago.
