    oh no -

    the last time I remember he reffed he was was abolutely appalling.

    Can't remember the game but it was last season at the Valley he was soooooooooo poor.

    well the ref on Saturday was so bad the bloke behind me was shouting 'you make Rob Styles look good' and 'I'd rather have fecking Rob Styles you *$£@' so at least someone will be happy !!

    Im pretty sure it was an evening game, it was either Bristol City or Plymouth.

    Wrong.

    He didn't book him for that tackle although Timar may previously or subsequently have been one of the 12 players to pick up a yellow in that match.

    Styles is a disgrace. He ignores violent tackles and books those who justifiably question his competence or lack thereof.

    I was looking forward to the game until then. Worst referee I've seen EVER. At least last Saturday's ref was just biased not crap.

    Last season Styles made the first booking after about 5 mns for something innoculous and then just kept getting worse. missing the worse tackle of the match (Tamar on Toddy) which i don't believe Toddy has fully recovered from.

    I wonder if Ladbrokes will give us odds on a rousing chorus of "you're an arsehole referee" breaking out or all 4 stands singing "you don't know what you doing" at once, or is it just not worth it?

    that is very very very bad news------------Plymouth he was truely awful and have 2 say he wont change-- if anything i bet he will stick it to us just to shw what a big man he is ---------------------one of the worst there is.

    He doesn't help himself does he? A quiet word here and there, MAN MANAGEMENT, early on and it save a whole load of hassle later on when he gives out red and yellow cards like confetti. Just look at how much better a referee Howard Webb is than Rob Styles....let's just hope and pray he keeps himself to himself and doesn't ruin the game...I also see Martin Yerby on the line, I went out with him last season at Tonbridge Angels...
