Just thought I'd say he was a good pro and gave nothing less than 100% A quality loan signing and all the best to him.

    Hear Hear.

Thought he was a model pro, committed and a decent loanee.

    I think we'll miss him.
  • Totally agree. I'm sure he'll be missed not only on the pitch, but also in the dressing room.

His influence has certainly helped his old mate Parky and Kins turn things round behind the scenes, and then on the park.
    Shame to lose him.

A decent player and a proper pro.

Maybe he will return next season?
  • I agree with all of the above and hope it is not the last of him in a Charlton shirt.

Injured and his loan was coming to an end. Could have been extended for another month, but he's out for around 4 weeks.

Best right back we've had on loan this season and last, Mills started well but I'd say Murty was a bit more reliable and consistent. Mills got that silly red card in his last game, something I don' think you'd see from Murty.

To be fair though, Laura .....we could find imperfection in each and every one of our players.

That's why they play for Charlton Athletic at the bottom of the Championship, rather than Real Madrid.

    ;o)

Graeme Murty brought many good things to the table while he was with us - experience, maturity and displaying a wholehearted thoroughly professional attitude.

But at the end of the season there is a still a chance that we may have special cause to remember him.
He was a major catalyst in changing the spirit and energy of the place.

    Good Luck Murt's

Let's hope you're either with us or playing against us next season. You'll get a cheer from me!

What was great was having a skillful defender, playing with enthusiasm. I thought he was our best right back for some time and I'll miss him.
    Many thanks Graeme.

Thanks Murts, I believe your professionalism and positive attitude rubbed off in the dressing room and helped spark our mini revival, good luck fella.

Really liked him although not one of ours he cared! Always injured but willing oplay on and some of his challenges were old school

Think praise must go to both of them parky new what he was getting and Murty never let him down.
I'm warming very much to the new management to team who are installing in our performances what we have been crying out for seasons PRIDE.

Back to thread, Thanks Murty wholehearted and commited what I have wanted to see for long time good luck.

Yes, indeed a big blow to both ourselves and Mr Murt's....he did himself proud in the short time he was with us....I for one wouldn't be that surprised to see him back with us at some point in the near future....wherever we find ourselves!

yep, not the worst loanee we've seen and undoubtedly gave 100%. However, he was pretty awful going forward and cost us a goal on Saturday with very poor defending. If that was Moots he would have got pelters so justified criticism imo.

Yes the goal was awful but judging by his reaction (unless he is the Scheimechel camp) he must have had a call or something because he let Hudson and Elliot have it.

Even if it did prove to be his mistake against Swansea, so what?

You can't be too hard on him for that. Even the established top echelon of players cock up occasionally.
    Players are only human.

He played for the shirt. And played a massive part in turning round the mentality of the place.

    That'll do for me!

Can't we ever just thank someone for 100% effort and determination without resorting to looking for a dubious negative. What is wrong with some folk?
  • I rate Mr Murty. Good pro. Other players need to learn from his example.
    Old School.....

Good pro etc. but I'd not expect a 17 year old debutant to make the error that he did at Swansea. Another disappointing right back loan for me, agree with Laura.
