    backpacking in Thailand.

    had a great time, met some fantastic people, didn't think much of Bangkok but the North is beautiful & the South great although very very hot.............had to slap on the factor 50............never done that in my life!!!!!

    Same experience as I had...a few days in Bangkok but too noisy, crowded then I escaped to Chiang Mai, trekked in the jungle, and then had a few days at Kanchanaburi in the west - visiting the River Kwai and around.
