OK so this season has been awful. We have been weak and inept and have been punished as a result.
I finally accept that we are highly likely to be relegated and do you know what - I don't care!
I will always follow Charlton, they are a part of me and my life would be very boring if they ceased to exist. It's what makes me different amongst my friends, it makes me different amongst my work colleagues. I am in North Essex and its predominantly West Ham round here but I am still proud to be an Addick.
I will put up with the grief I get from colleagues who never go to football matches and yet claim to "support" Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea - I can take whatever they give because I have experienced genuine highs and lows with my club and much of this has been done in person - in the flesh as opposed to on a TV screen.
We may not be good enough for this league right now but I am confident we can bounce back - we have seen darker days and I dare say it may get a little darker still....but we will be back.

Standing on a chair but not singing that song. Reminds me of when we got relegated from premiership and we only sing it when things are going bad. We were talking about it last night, we only bought season tickets 3 seasons ago, since then relegated (i assume) twice - is it me?0
