Would be interesting to see how that would play out on here.0

Penny for the thoughts of TS
In defence of LB things started to go Tits up,when we lost our centre Half paring and Alfie.
We have not been the same since.
This is the most challenging time for TS since taking over
It could all turn around - this is such a shit league
However the biggest obstacle is the Salary cap and as long as it stays then we could be screwed - so we need to get out ASAP
So if TS is reading this as a straw poll then he has a big decision to make with Lee.
Personaly I think he will keep him - but that is very marginal

Some managers can do well but can't pull out of a dive. Our dive started over a year ago and wasn't in any way Bowyer's fault. But he has shown it has taken its toll and can't pull out of it.
He has turned from a front foot to a back foot manager and is blaming everybody he can but himself for poor results. It is clear for all to see if they are willing to open their eyes.6 -
Danny Addick said:For what it’s worth, my opinion is that Bows is doing alright with a brand new squad that includes crap strikers. He’s still in credit but needs to improve once he gets Schwartz in. I’m a bit surprised at the playing players out of position too but as he’s said in the post match interview, he has a reason (at least!)
Unless Eddie Howe fancies another project starting in the lower leagues, which I highly doubt, I’d leave Bows, Jacko and Gallen to do their thing.
We all know we have been terribly unlucky to lose Inniss and Famewo for so long and we were short up front from the off and with a salary cap.
Having said all that, we must have someone better than Bogle. He joined us with a chronically poor track record which he's battled hard to maintain. I won't pay to watch another stream if he's playing.2 -
Here you go Muttley;ForeverAddickted said:Be interested to see a poll on here of those who do want Bowyer gone
Bowyer isn't going to get sacked now, so ‘fans’ screaming for him to be sacked just create a whole heap of unecessary and unhelpful noise. Once it seeps in, its there and it gets rehashed and regenerated after every defeat or bad performance.
We've an owner thats not not going to mess around as he has made clear we need promotion in next 18 months. If Bowyer isn’t delivering that, he’ll get rid of him.
After all we’ve been through this last few years, Bowyer (you would have thought) has earned the loyalty to have a crack at correcting this. This has been a poorly put together squad and then Impacted by key injuries. If it doesn’t shown improvement signs over the next couple of months, he’ll carry the can for it. But he’s earned the right imo to have a go at working this out through.

So we differ by a couple of months. I wouldn't mind if he showed signs of trying to work it out.1
-
I wonder if the last couple of years have taken a toll on him. He seems to have run out of steam as a manager.16

Still doesn't make sense to play him on a side he's not used to. He could've still used his pace in the final third but on his more natural left hand side.3 -

vff said:I don't want Bowyer sacked but I do want him to play players in their natural positions. Playing a left back at right half and a right back at left back, and a centre midfield at centre back will produce a disjointed team. It also significantly undermines the confidence of the specialist players in those positions. Having Prately at centre back also takes him out of the midfield, weakening the midfield. It also likely to result in injury for older players like Smith. Bogle at the front without pace to support him was never going to work. Football is not rocket science. Play players in their natural positions and keep it simple.2

This comment says it all for me...
"When asked for his thinking behind the new role for the Chelsea loanee, Bowyer explained: “We thought [Malik] Wilks would be playing on the right. He’s been playing on the right all the time, coming in on his left foot and he’s very good at it. So, I thought Adam, he’ll be coming on to his strong foot as well, his right foot.Adam had done well in the last game in possession, he was very good on the ball."
So when he saw that Wilks was playing on the left Matthews playing out of position and a rapid Wilks against an aging Gunter. No plan b2 -

Not sure who's lost the plot more, Bowyer with his starting lineup or those calling for Curbs back!!!
The man's not managed for 12 years and it's a completely different game now, I love the guy but seriously people, he's not the man to take us forward.
Come in and mentor LB - I'm all for that but manage us again, no chance!!13 -

bazjonster said:alburyaddick said:I don’t think there can be any debate about Bogle - he’s just not good enough, he can’t shoot, head, trap the ball, beat a man, hold it up and has no pace so I doubt he will play for the club again unless everyone else is injured. The one I don’t really understand is Gilbey - he was completely anonymous today - I just don’t know what his position is supposed to be
He was player of the season at MK - he looks both clueless and lost now. He’s the bloke you used to play with in Sunday League who seemed very busy but made sure he was never really available to receive a pass0
