And stop boring those of us who are happy with it.
It's like moaning that you don't like us playing in red shirts, then moaning every week when we trot out in red shirts again.0 -
"But you know what's on my mind right now? It AIN'T the quality of my live stream."

This thread is so much more entertaining than the football is right now.2

I think Ray’s level of outrage is off the fucking chart.
Threads like this is what makes Charlton Life the perfect place to spend your Saturday night.4 -
I watch on my iPad Pro and the picture is crystal clear.1

If you’re complaining about the picture quality then maybe volunteer to be a ballboy in the stands and you’ll watch it in ultra HD!2

i think its a great show they put on - minto, curbs, brownie, pre match nostalgia, post match analysis, commentators a bit biased but why not? - the only thing that stunts the enjoyment is the team and the occasional triple replay when the action is being missed - if the stream could be slightly better quality, i'm not bothered, and frankly i don't care - its fine and will be double fine once we start winning again7
-
Stop with the stupid double spacing, commenting on your profile and the activity pages and boring complaints. We can see you're not happy, that's fine and you've shared it.
Stop whining at everyone about a service that is the same price and has more quality than the other 72 clubs providing a stream at the same price.
Especially if you can't simply agree to disagree with posters maybe forums aren't for you... Seriously attacking any post that disagrees with yours is pathetic.
With regards to the technicalities, the club offer an HD stream, providing a full hd stream can create delays as can be seen by simply flicking between SD and HD channels like BBC One/ BBC One HD, our national primary broadcasting organisations channel.
720p is in my opinion more than reasonable and limits the risk of delays in streams and is more cost effective for the club to provide. So I'm happy with what's being offered for £10 a game.
The football may be shit this season, but by God Sandgaard appears to be doing everything he can correctly at this time.
Some people just can't wait to dig out the club
Compare our £10 service to any other follow club they're completely incomparable in terms of quality and quantity.4 -
Stunning value for a tenner. Son and I watch together - fiver each! Price of a pint for two hours entertainment. Best thing that has ever happened since COVID-19 arrived.7

The interviews afterwards and whatever it is , it’s fucking pure Charlton porn and I love it , whatever the result .
As someone who would cut out paper match reports, keep em and fill in wall charts and come in my pants when the Mercury fell in the letterbox , as well as being ready and waiting to press the record button on my vhs for 30 seconds of footage of whatever coverage we got as a kid on the box I’m in Charlton heaven now and I don’t have to be anywhere near moaning twat Charlton fans viva la lockdown .
I'm actually now starting to think I'm schizo and that you are in fact me.
Very surreal.3 -

I too keep Charlton stuff (not even sure it's memorabilia) often with no understanding as to why. Programmes, articles, ticket stubs. My thoughts are,, "why wouldn't I?"3 -
For me it is worth every penny of the £10.00. It is the highlight of my week and I'm already looking forward to tomorrow nights game. For people like me who would have no chance of getting to a Tuesday night game for geographic reasons what's not to like ? Sure I get the odd bit of buffering but that's my broadband and not the streams fault. I pray it continues once things get back to normal and I can watch every game like I have been able too the last 12 months7

The fee that the EFL levy is £10. There is nothing that can much be done about that.
However at home the quality of the show, the involvement the club is trying to give is really good. It is quite professional really.
We could be without a club now but so guy called Thomas has somehow for some reason saved something we all hold dear and it has cost him a fair bit of money.
In this awful time these games are o e thing other tha my grandchildren via a video link that I have to lighten up the week. Twice a week I pay up and sit to watch the games. It is no replacement for the live match and a beer before it with mates.
I don't resent the tenner because it helps put some cash back in Thomas's wallet. I am grateful. even if the results are not great and losing at home to Accrington is not exactly joyful.
The one thing I resent is the £1.50 charge on top of the tenner from my CAFC cash when non season ticket holders just pay a tenner which is what I now do now.
Given we could easily have ended up with no club I for one am grateful to be able get the streams. Thanks Thomas.0 -

Just leave it Paulie.
The guy is acting like a fruit loop. We have an owner pumping money in for salaries and services for the fans and yet it's apparently not good enough for a guy that's only visited the forum on average twice a year for the past 11 years!
He's not even posted since 2014 before returning in 2021 to whine about the stream!0 -
