    Bucs coaching, Oline and D have been the difference here but my god Tom is special, had a feeling he might pull it off again and he has.

    Devin White should have been MVP. Tampa's D won this more than Brady. White.... 13 tackles, 9 solo tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and a pic. All led the game. Of course they gave it to Brady, though.

    Was about to post the same thing. So obvious Brady would get it but the whole Tampa defence were exceptional, White typified everything they got right.

    Not true. Brady was superb. Agreed the Bucs defence was good but you can't take away Brady's performance. I would guess that if Brady wasn't the Bucs QB then they wouldn't have won today.

    Offence wins matches and defence wins championships. 

    I know Chiefs were missing their two starting OL but they were dominated.

    There can be debate in many sports about who is the G.O.A.T, Hamilton, Schumacher, Senna in F1, Messi, Ronaldo, Maradona, Pele in Football, LeBron or MJ in basketball, but for me in NFL Brady is streets ahead of anyone else

    For a QB to join a new team, during a pandemic, no pre season, learn a whole new playing scheme, start with a 7-5, then from their by week go 8-0, including THREE road wins in the play offs, without doubt, and at the age of 43, when apparently his arm has gone, win his 7th Superbowl, more wins than ANY TEAM in history, let alone player....

    I could go on, but fuck me, it's now unquestionable.

    QBs nearly always win MVP though, whichever team won last night it was always going to be one of the QBs just because of the way the whole game had been hyped. Mahomes first double digit loss since 2016 (against Iowa state), not a huge shock the Buccs won just the manner of that victory. I guess it came down to some small injuries on the Chiefs adding up, some really stupid penalties and mistakes and great play calling by the Buccs can have a huge swing in terms of an outcome.

    Do feel for Mahomes. Played his heart out with a slight injury only to be let down multiple times.

    Must be so frustrating. His time will come again though.

    As for Brady, he just a system QB ;)

    Anyway that's it for this season! Dunno when the new thread gets started, but I am SO READY to preview the draft and probably do the odd player profile between now and April.

    One name to look out for - Quinn Meinerz. He is a big thicc offensive lineman from the tiny Wisconsin-Whitewater (Div III), invited to the Senior Bowl and he looked absolutely incredible there. He looks like he'll emulate and perhaps outstrip Ali Marpet's path. It'll be exciting to see what happens with him.

    What are the Texans doing? Are they trying to build up a big number of draft picks like the Browns did a couple of years ago and have a massive rebuild over a couple of seasons with highly rated rookies?

    It appears they're screwed for the next little while. There's no good way around this. Watson wants a trade; Watt will want a ring so they've let him go and chase one; their previous strategy with Bill O'Brien as both HC and GM was disastrous... I mean, this team is - in theory - a ways off from being competitive so this looks like a tank for #1 overall in 2022 and Sam Howell/Spencer Rattler/whoever is top then.

    Wow the Colts got Wentz pretty cheap. 2021 3rd rounder and 2022 CONDITIONAL 2nd rounder.

    I know there are still a few question marks there but to me that’s actually a bit of a steal.
