Following our encouraging draw with Reading midweek, are our players still hungry like a wolf, or will we be turned over by an impressive hampton ?

With Darren Ward unable to play, and ZZ back on the scene, changes will be afoot.

What team would you play ?

Will Iwelumo break his run of 15 games without a goal ?

Its all too exciting for me, tell me your views !

    Wolves win :-(

The weakness is defence, without Ward we'll have to play one of Mambo, Holland or Youga/Basey at centre back.

On the other hand the best form of defence is attack...

Wolves are there for the taking this weekend.

If we score first and can keep up the pressure i dont think they will come back.

Holland in the middle at the back. He did a good job last time i saw him there.

    Wolves 1 - 2 CAFC

Can't see anything other than a defeat i'm afraid.

With the cenre back partneship being broken up combined with SEB playing upfront will mean that we will concede. We'll play deep due to the lack of pace and perceived threats meaning that we wont create anything as the ball will keep coming back at us.

All I can hope for is a blinder from Elliot and a dodgy penalty or own goal from them to nick a 0-1.

So there have been 4 of us in the comments thinking we will win, yet only 1 vote for a Charlton win in the poll.

Can people not see the polls ????

1-1 draw I reckon, Iwelumo nailed on to end his barren run, Bailey again for us
  • Like everyone in this league, Wolves aren't actually that good so no reason why we can't shock them.

    Can ZZ not play centre-half?

I'm with Kins. The first of our nine consecutive wins.

I'm also going to win the lottery on Saturday and Iwelumo will ask Parky if he can get on the coach back to the Valley and please can he bring his friend Ebanks-Blake with him, as they'd both like to join on loan til the end of the season with a view to a permanent move in the summer.

    FACTS .

1: Draw at half time then we snatch a late win
2: Winning at half time, they score and it's a draw
3: Loosing at half time, we fight back for the draw.

    I voted for a draw!

Frankly fear for us at Wolves without a proper centre half.

Iwelumo is a handful for a proper Centre half let alone a fill in unless of course he is playing for us!

i think we should all say we are going to get spanked , like we did in the Reading game, and we shall get a positive result.

We got to win away from home at some time - let's make it at the Dingles.

    We'd be about 7-1

For the financially insane amoungst you, Charlton are 100-1 to win by 3 clear goals today with our sponsors Paddy Power (i.e. 3-0 4-1 5-2 etc!)

Look under Handicaps - Charlton -2 is 100-1

to win by 2 clear goals (Chalton -1) is 22-1

Surely we have to hand out an unlikely spanking at some point

    I'm on both :-)

Ebanks-Blake and Iwelumo to score. At least one each.

A bit like when west brom turned up at our place a few seasons back. They were struggling at the bottom of the league and they caned us 4-1!

Therefore, the '3 clear goals' one looks a good bet.........

Kandol on his own upfront with ZZ behind him. Shelvey on the bench with Dickson and Ambrose as other attacking options.

Iwelumo fit and starts for Wolves.

    Fairly predictable line up.

Holland in CB, ZZ in the hole.

    Deon gone for a Burton.
