oh dear - I have just done the BBC predictor again, and somehow have us staying up by beating Norwich in last game and sending them down.
Now I have got to start believing again !!!

Oggy, I'll wear the rose-tinted glasses with you. Now is it likely? Of course not, but stranger things have happened...

    Cheers Can.
If everything in football was likely, there wouldn't be a need to physically play any matches, would there? lol

Anything is possible if you believe it is.

That's why bookies and football 'experts' frequently get it wrong - why minnows beat giants in the cup and, like last Tuesday, a team like bottom of the league Charlton can go away to promotion favourites and get a result.

    Funny old game, football.

    If we Yung on board.
  • I'm really bored of thinking about it too much. What will come will come. Even if we stay up I'll still, in a way, be pissed off. We've been in a shit situation for such a long time.
  • so if we stay up thats something to build upon,i wouldnt be pissed off in the slightest
  • Hmmmm... Well I personally don't think that will happen, used to but I doubt we'll stay up. If we do stay up I'll be relieved but there's no way I'd be happey with the way this or the past three or four seasons have gone.

I was hoping we could finish 23rd by beating Norwich on the last day of the season.

Now I'm hoping we can get 30 points by beating Norwich on the last day of the season.

  • Is that still a record low for the present amount of teams and points available for div 2? If so lets go for it!

a month or so back I was worried you might dig your way out of it, but with 8 games left you probably need to win every single one to stay up

you are right royally knackered, and I'm damn relieved about it, to be brutally honest

It now highly unlikely, I think the Donny and Watford games did for us.
But where there a mathmatical chance , who knows. One thing we need a change of luck and some
results elsewhere in the bottom 6 to go for us.
