    Most dogs know better than to mess with cats - my cat is definitely a lover not a fighter, but next door's weimaramer (sic) will not go near him, even though it's massive. It can still remember when it got too close. My cat is cowardly by nature, but he will actually run at dogs and attack them!

    One of my four cats (we only had three at the time though) tried to take on an Adder and was winning until it bit her on the leg- she still fought on though until we managed to get the Adder away and took her to the vets pronto to deal with the bite.

    How about me.

    We came across fresh cougar prints on Friday evening while out XC skiing - certainly added an edge to proceedings. Don't want to end up being eaten by one of those!

    I thought you were going to say that you got a scratch from a moggy!

    A tip for you mate:

    Don't try and break up a cougar fight.

    Sensible, I'm sure you'll agree.

    And watch out for those bears!
