Q : Should Darren Ward return v Preston :

Yes, from the start 38%
On bench : 44%
No, not at all: 18%

nearly 2,000 votes cast.

Where do these numpties come from. Ward has been outstanding and of course he should return to the starting line-up. Anyone here think otherwise ?

I voted yes, I can't think who else you'd play there. Fortune out, Semedo out, Youga and Basey not really centre backs or good enough to play there. After that we've got youngsters that aren't ready yet.

Got to be people who want all loanees gone?

    It's a nonsensical question.

Anyone who understands the game would know one of the major reasons we lost to Burnley, Bristol City and Wolves.

Agree with that. Have been very impressed with him. Would like to see him sign for next season, though he may not want to play in League one.

So the queston is really :

"We have only got two fit full-time centre-halves. Do you think v Preston we should play : -

    a) Both of them

    b) One of them

    c) Neither of them.

Idiotic! If there's 2000 votes cast, and 18 per cent say he shouldn't play at all, that's 360 people ! Who on earth are they ? And another 900 reckon he should only be on the bench?

Perhaps it's Preston fans logging on and voting.

We'll win this one, I reckon (with Ward back in the side). Preston are hopeless away from home. In fact, they're so bad on the road that we are the only team that has won fewer away games than them this season!

if we beat Preston, Large, it will be our third win in five home matches. Too little far too late, of course. But a sign of some improvement.
