"well that was a long walk down a windy beach to a cafe that was closed"

I haven’t laughed so much in ages.

Fecking hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Very funny in parts, a bit flat in others.  Overall, could be better, all things considered.

Also, better than Michael McIntyre any day of the week.
  • Saw the stage show live in London.
    Brilliantly funny and outrageously talented.

I mean, I’ve loved him for years but I just thought it was brilliant.

Maybe as we haven’t had much to laugh about.

I’m still chuckling over gammon 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Watched it.  On the whole hilarious and what a talented musician too.  Heavy metal Twinkle Twinkle little star..!  And also loved the line "well that was a long walk down a windy beach to a cafe that was closed"...

I saw him once at the Comedy club in his early days - just starting out and he was a bit different - and very funny.  As soon as he went mainstream he just conformed as the money took over...

I’ve seen Bill Bailey live on a number of occasions and it’s a laugh a minute from start to finish. And do you know what I like ... he can make you cry without having to use swear words in every other sentence. Those facial expressions 🤨

I loved the alternative Happy Birthday.
    I'm so using that 😂

Will watch on iPlayer later. One of the funniest men on the planet.

I’m seeing him in Manchester in December - eldest bought me tickets (for me and him) for Christmas.

Just watched it and was laughing uncontrollably at the McCartney bit - and so was my missus who isn’t really a Bill Bailey fan!

    Awesome, but I’m not Australian.
  • This was the show I saw a couple of years ago (seems like another life now!). He's been great in everything I've seen him in from Black Books onwards and totally owned the theatre from start to finish.

I'm no prude but I second the comment about how funny and engaging he was without having to resort to bad language.

If you get a chance, go see him.

Saw him at Lewisham Theatre a long time ago and honestly was the funniest I have ever found anyone. All about context, he did a routine about didgeridoo music, the gag being that it all sounds very similar, and it had me in stitches. Obviously being Bill Bailey he was playing the didgeridoo as part of the act

I wasn't a Bill Bailey  fan from his appearances on game shows and bloody celebrity come dancing.  However  in this show,  truly hilarious.

Reminded me of Victor Borgnin and Les Dawson doing similar
    Borge?

The Argos routine around "The laminated book of dreams" had me in stitches.
