    £500 between 8 - so knowing us, we'd get 15 people up for it and only 5 on the day - at £100 a man, bit steep to play 90 mins at the Valley. I reckon I'll get a game there myself next season and Charlton'll be paying me ;-)

    Because i don't think they'll get the take up. Certainly not 16 teams. Might get a few companies with Charlton links enter a team for their employees, but can't see 16 doing it. Just my opinion.

    Presuming it will games on maximum half a pitch.

    I doubt even the first team could enter a side to win it..

    Seems a bit pricey for basically a glorified 5-a-side tournament !

    CASC did a 5-a-side tournament at THe Valley about 5-6 years ago and it was £5 per player.

    that's cos they are a part of a clique and now the club neads to earn as much ££££££'s as possible.

    Well i was wrong.

    it was a 'resounding success', despite filling only 50% of the places.

    Would be interested to know if all 8 teams paid full price...
