20 years since Hillsborough and former players join a few Scouse pop stars, a worthy cause- no doubt about that at all.
However, why didn't they release it as a Double A-Side with the Heysal song they made in 2007?

A song for Hillsborough - composed and performed by Scousers?!

As with Heysel it'll be about blaming someone else.

If it doesn't do well in the charts, they are ganna have a minutes silence for it.

Just record a minute's silence - release that instead.

Fair enough comment re: Heysel but sorry this is in bad taste when referencing Hillsborough.

Sorry, but I disagree. There were many reasons why Hillsborough happened, but they all stem from too many Liverpool fans turning up without tickets. Something that Liverpool fans overlook when placing the blame.

If they had learnt from Heysel then maybe Hillsborough wouldn't have happened, and for further proof that they hadn't learnt that it is irresponsible to try to get into football matches without tickets look at the rioting that occurred when the authorities closed the stadium in Athens after Liverpool fans without tickets tried to get in before their last European Cup final against AC Milan. After that incident they were again blamed everyone else but themselves.
