It's been annoying me since we did the display but we'll fix it when we swap the shirts.

Any plans for this display to tour the North East?

I'm sure the Makems would love to see a bit of their history..................

We lent some Charlton items to the Tyne Wear museum in 2019

But they wanted stuff about Bartram and Seed.

Where it belongs. Significant shirts like these need to be on display forever.

What's the shirt that's in there at the moment then, Henry?

@stig it's a shop bought but limited edition replica of the play-off shirt.

    We'll probably throw it away now : - )

If only he didn't bugger off to Preston, we stayed in the championship and it wasn't a mad season shit show that also eventually got us relegated.

Quick (slightly off topic) question. Regarding the replica trophies in the cabinet, do they get supplied to winners, or do club take it upon themselves to have them made?

If memory serves me, FA Cup winners used to get a much smaller replica (Southall probably nicked ours)

A replica is given to the club once the original one is returned.

And we still have the replica from 2019 on display.

The 2000 and 1998 trophies we have on display in the Museum are originals.

We also have the FA Cup replica from the 1972 centenary on display and the replica Women's FA Cup plus the replica Jules Remit trophy from 1966.

All those trophies as well as the various caps and medals were taken away from the museum for safekeeping during the ESI era just in case but are back in the Museum now
