Shame Remco's out.  Quick Step need to action their plans and work on his descending.  Not as bad as some make out, but he's got too much talent to leave his descending at an Andy Schleck level.

Well done by Yates ... but great race management by Bernal

If Yates had half the team support that was given to Bernal throughout the Giro, he'd be about ten minutes ahead of him.

If only Ineos had someone genetically identical to Simon Yates that they could use in the future ;-)

Team BikeExchange have been the second best GC team.  They made it happen in stage 17 for Yates, without BikeExchange there wouldn't have been such big attacks on the Sega di Ala.  Don't think he'd have put time in on the more explosive Strade Bianche stage, or in the first two weeks's mountain stages.

Impressive by Caruso ... but Bernal showed his class again ... terrific support by the Ineos team all through the Giro.
