was meant to be 2 months, we recalled him after one. No point unless he is going to be given a go in the first team. The following quote from the Welling manager is interesting :
"Charlton have been very pleased with Harry's attitude and training. They've noticed a big difference and want to have a look at him before the end of the season.
Before, I think he was probably going out of the door but maybe it will be different now."0 -

I think that midfield at this level would get ripped to pieces. Might not be too bad in league one but i still can't help feel that Wagstaff won't make it.
Good to hear about Arter's attitude. Maybe dropping down to Welling's level was the kick up the arse he needed as he's way better than that level as the last month has proved.0 -
I reckon Wright going on loan to Gills was a good movebut bring him back before the end of the season.
I fear you may be right about wagstaff but then Sam was cack until he began to truly mature!0 -

Funny how yet another of our young players has a perceived attitude problem according to the club's management. FFS the guy's been out for over a year with a career threatening injury. Coupled with a report on another thread about the poor cameraderie displayed at the squad hotel prior to the Southampton match, I wonder how much of this improved motivation Parky and the board speak of, is just hype. I think there are deep lying harmony problems in the training camp that should have been solved with a "new broom".0 -
He has to be given a chance! I can't think of a reason why not to.
If nothing else, what's more likely to encourage people to renew season tickets? Sticking with the team we've watched be crap all year who could pick up a few points (because the pressure's off) before half of them leave in the summer. Or try some players that came through the youth system and could earn themselves the right to be in the team next year. Showing we have some bright prospects who could be the stars of next season's campaign sounds more exciting to me.0 -

So Dickson, Moutu, Wright, Wagstaff, Christensen, Sinclair, Fleetwood and Arter are all rumoured to have/had an attitude problem or simply considered good enough.

Incidentally, of the 16, only McEverley is actually currently starting for us or their current Clubs. And he left apparently because he wasn't going to be fit for a very long time and yet, within a matter of a few weeks, he became a fixture in the Derby first team.0 -

Just saw that, good to see, hopefully he gets a chance. Would be great if it was on Saturday, even if it was just off the bench.
