What ??

A football game ? In two days ?? surely not !

Yes, our great road to survival (no sniggering at the back) sees us up against one of the top sides in the division. Will we give them the Brum Rush, or will we be feeling Blue come Saturday night ?

Who would you play, how do you see it going etc ?

Following up the great win at Southampton with another goal feast

4-3 to the Addicks after having been 3-1 and 4-2 up.

Parky seems to be playing something of a settled team so we start with the same team as last weekend.

We're down. Fact. So there's no point in overthinking selection and trying to match-up or out-wit the oppo. What's most important now is that we finish strongly and bond, in the hope that goes some way to convincing players to stray and building for next season.

    Brum to win 2-0.
  • Brum are gonna win this at a stroll.

Charlton all the way, well 2-1.

Same team as last week assuming there are no injuries/suspensions.

Similar side to last week but I expect an apathetic atmosphere a la Preston hence a win to Birmingham at a canter. 2-0 or thereabouts.
  • We cant go down in the normal manner. It's charlton . So we will win 5 on the spin (6 if you include saturday) then lose at home to norwich to get relegated!
  • Can see a 2-1 home win and a few of the more optimistic types just starting to wonder if anything is possible...

Looking forward to the game - first one for a while for me.

    I voted for a win

So far 82% of fans agree with me that the team bottom of the league will beat the team second from top.

Gotta love football fans and their optimism

Come on guys, you just KNOW Bouazza will score.

This is what he says in the Birmingham Mail:

“It was difficult at Charlton. I don’t know what to say, to be honest.

“Sometimes it happens like that. You go there and the team starts to do badly.

...Birmingham are a big club and I want to do everything I can to help them into the Premier League, and get back there myself. That means a lot to me.''

And BTW, even the Birmigham Mail says the Blues "pulled a fast one'' to get Fulham to recall him and send him straight up to the Midlands. The article then claims the move ''left us reeling', which is a bit of an overstatement, IMO. But he's a good player and I was sorry to see him go.

Matt Holland is out in the Ukraine doing commentary for ITV - does that mean he's not involved tomorrow?

And don't forget Kevin Phillips, always scores against us; if he's playing we're 0-1 down at the start!

1-3 to brum one of our midfielders to score cos we have the poniest striker(s) in the history of football.
our strikers have only netted in one of the last 17 league games (2 goals kandol against watford) , that's why we're going down, well one of a number of reasons.
one up front or whatever we might as well play none up front

I get the feeling he won't even make the bench.

Parkinson will be happy leaving out Todorov, but not Burton, Dickson and Spring.

    Hope he is though.
  • Jeez - I'm the only person so far to go for the draw - Let's hope we get the win though

i just went for a draw
  • 3-2 Charlton for this one, the usual scorers of Racon, Bailey & Jonjo with Bowyer & Bouazza for Brum.
