    I sure it was when I last downloaded it but I keep being asked to sign up for packages.

    Anyone got a link to a free, non-subscription version.

    Adobe Reader is the free one.

    or try www.openoffice.org and download open office.

    This is a free set of applications that are the equivalent of Microsoft Office (and work with Office files).
    Dunno if it does pdfs tho!
