For years now, after cleaning my teeth at night and in the morning I have always used a mouthwash. Wrong. If you use a mouthwash directly after brushing your teeth it will wash away the fluoride coating your teeth from the toothpaste. Use it at other times but not after brushing.

Is that right? I thought most mouthwash products contained fluoride. So aren't they just going to be adding to or replacing the fluoride in the toothpaste?0

My dentist also said don’t swill your mouth with water after using toothpaste for the same reason .2

Apparently you should also only brush the teeth you want to keep :-)3
