Welcome Corey. I’d never heard of you a week ago but you’re an Addick now so best of luck!

These left field, “never heard of him” signings often do better for us than better known players who join us. Hopefully this is one of those cases. Presumably the club have seen something they like for us to sign him.

Welcome - fingers crossed he can do the business.
  • I bet he can't believe his luck after having been shown the door at Rochdale

4 month contract, we must be expecting some good business being done in January  B)

Can't say I'm overwhelmed, and a 6 month contract suggests that the club wasn't overwhelmed either.

But we desperately needed additional players, so I guess he was the best they could manage

I think the 4 month contract is sensible. As stated he has had issues. Let’s see how hungry he is the get a longer deal.

Gonna score 7 goals in 12 starts and then sign for Millwall in January.

Sensible short term deal. Gives us the chance to have a good long look at him and then extend it if we are impressed. On the down side if he does well then he might earn himself a contract at Ipswich.

    Sensible from the club really

He's an unknown quantity, has hopefully proven enough in training to warrant a deal - Now just needs to prove he can hack it at the level we need him to, if he can do that then hopefully he'll get a longer deal, if his reputation carries on here we can wash our hands of him.

Shame we didnt take a similar approach with some other players in the past.

Guess its not always easy to do so though, if they're going to refuse

Contract length says more than the comments from NA, TS and SG do. Hopefully he surprises us and wins a longer deal.

I guess the issue is we needed cover for DJ and Kirk which rules out a loan winger coming in and getting regular game time. For the same reason we won’t pay a fee for a winger who will only be a squad player.
  • If he has touted attitude problem a 4 month contract and "get your head down and crack on" approach may be sensible.

If he has the hunger and drive to meet his potential and demonstrates an ability to contribute to the squad it may lead to a longer deal, if not then we'll free up a squad place and wage for January window.

    Welcome CBT.

Hope he's shit as his name will cost a fortune on the kid's shirts if he becomes a club favourite.

Got the number 23 shirt, so the same number as a couple of rubbish signings  ;)

Sensible short term deal or not, it's absolutely miles away from the business we thought we'd be doing (contractually speaking)

Hopefully we've uncovered a gem. League One Leko 🤞🏼

I've no real opinion and as we are well short on numbers I view it as a positive.
A better alternative than Clayden I feel.
  • Seems he signed in time for tomorrow as well
