Partner for Bougherra plus winger

a) who would you seelct to partner Bougherra at the back (forget Sorondo & Gibbs if you haven't already, so between Diawarra, HH or El Karkouri)

b) in a 451 which two wide players would you select, from Rommedahl, Sam, Thomas, Lisbie, Ambrose.


For me, (a) El Karkouri, (b) Thomas & Lisbie

    For all that Romm can frustrate he causes two or three problems every game and he frightens full backs with his pace

    I think that Diawarra will turn out to be an excellent signing in the long run however, for the moment I'd have to go for Herman as the lesser of evils.

    As much as I'm losing patience with Rommedahl, I think that Latimer is right so I'd go with Rom and a fully fit Thomas.

    As a side issue, I think that Ambrose is wasted out on the wing, he'd be better playing through the middle, just off the striker imo.
