If its November 28th, itd be interesting to know which back up date they've picked incase covid has gone to shit. I certainly wont be booking anything in advance for late nov/December and risk the new date in 2021 being on a Tuesday/work day etc.

"Sue Cook's pulled out, change it to an evening with just Alan Curbishley"9

I could enjoy an hour with one of Madame Fifi's girls in Paris for that, and no VAT either!

Elfsborg has bought 6 tickets for his mates.
His generosity knows no bounds.3 -

+ VAT?
All of a sudden we live in the states. Just say it's roughly £100
Sounds a very good evening and would be insightful 🙂
If I had the money and time available for it, I would definitely go.2 -

There's another thread for this that started 7 minutes earlier.....0

Alan Curbishley is an immortal god in Charlton’s history, but should it really be worth the price of actually attending 4-5 home games?!3

Even if Curbs didn't turn up you'd have better value spending that £100 looking at a blank wall .13 -
Might have to go to keep an eye on him and his outlandish claims. 😉1

If the price includes booze I might be interested. I reckon I could get me monies worth if it includes booze!😉0

Quite pricey but it'd be great to hear all those stories of so many great years under his excellent management.0

These events really aren’t aimed at the vast majority of us so there is no point at all squibbling about the price12

Is £85 plus VAT meant to sound more of a bargain than £100?
either way, it's not a bargain, particularly as I cant see that any element of the ticket price is in part a contribution to CACT.
It's a private money making event (nothing wrong with that) with a charitable element outside of the main event.
If it was pitched as a CACT event, with a contribution from ticket prices being made alongside a charitable auvtion during the evening, the pricing (and appeal) might make more sense.
That said, I'm sure it will be a great evening...

This. Advertising it as £85 + VAT suggests it’s aimed at a corporate market, not a common or garden fan. Maybe little Charlton aint so little any more…4 -
