WhatsApp notification sound problem

iPhone- All my notification settings are on, everything works for a while then randomly my sound notification on WhatsApp goes silent, not changed any settings but it just goes silent, still getting banners and vibrate, any advice gratefully received

    Is this related to the version of WhatsApp your running and if your IOS is compatible with it.

    Did this only start happening today? Did you update to iOS 15?
