2021-22 CL Prediction League Week 11 Fixtures

With less than two months to go until Christmas, it's that time of the year when I remind everyone about the Prediction Knock Out Cup which starts in January. The top 128 competitors in the Prediction League on Christmas Day - in other words, everyone down to 12th place in the National League South - are included. There are a couple of rules changes this year. Firstly, if you haven't posted any predictions for any of the previous six weeks, you will be excluded. Secondly, this year Hopeful Harriet, Pessimist Pete and Follower Fred are taking part. For those new to the League, it works like any other cup in that you will be drawn against someone else and the score from your weekly predictions will determine who gets through to the next round. There's a spare week after each round for replays. 1st Round losers will get a second chance by gaining entry to the replacement for the renamed Johnstones Paint Prediction Cup, which has become the Papa Freight Sherpa Paint Cup. If you are despondent about your League position, you still have a chance of having some virtual silverware to show off in your virtual trophy cabinet.

And so, on to Week 11. For the first time, there is a game from the USA. I'm curious to see what the bouncebackability of Charlton supporters turns out to be after the gloomy predictions for the visit to Sunderland. 100% home wins? We will have to wait and see.
