Is it better? Personally, I am struggling to get use to it.

Not received my new card yet. The menu changed about week ago. I have Sky+ HD box, but don't subscribe to the HD channels.

Hasn't changed for me just yet.
  • Hasn't changed for me either. I have the Sky+ HD box and I've still got the old menu.

Being rolled out, older boxes first. I actually like it, especially seeing the picture in the menu screen. Seems to have fixed lots of the bugs in the system as well.

I find it soooo much better. Easier & Quicker to navigate, no ten pages of recorded programs cause of the stacking. You can record a series easier, preview programs. The best is being able to see info on programs that your not watching! Its quaaaaaaaality!

I tried sky plussing 4 programmes all at different times & apparently they all clashed, one of them was Meerkat Manor so I was well pee'd off - simples! - you're having a laugh. If anyone can tell me what happened to Rocket Dog then I'd appreciate it, ta very much.

We've had the update and it has both pros and cons, like most things in life.

The stacking is an excellent idea. Being able to view info on a programme via the arrow keys, rather than having to go into the TV guide is good. Thumbnail of the current programme while skipping though the planner is a nice touch.

Seems slower though, especially when stopping a playback. Also seems to be more key presses to do some functions, especially playback of stacked items....

You can get ITV HD through the new EPG, just google the instructions

Lucky you - we got the letter AFTER the upgrade had been done!
