Been watching him in Academy and Reserves games, so I knew he was good, but it was very pleasing to see him step up and play so confidently and well in the First Team.

Yeah did as well I as thought he would. With more games playing in his best position at right back he should do well.
Not the biggest but stronger in the tackle and better in the air than he might look to some.
I'm sure he won't be first choice next season, but he should be involved quite a bit.0 -

Good debut by him, will need to bulk up - only concern is that he makes Bailey look tall and not sure much can be done about that0

The very best way to debut, injured player, and unexpectedly thrown on. had the movement and body style of lee Bowyer, preferred his right foot but played on the left, and was comfortable if required to play his left foot, got more and more in to the game, may need to finish growing but a good debut, and it left me wondering why we have had so many loans, we're down anyway, yet the young players who have featured have been pretty good...and could not have done worse than the players who have relegated us!0

Was surprised that Parky chose to put the inexperienced Solly on the left rather than Butterfield. I guessed it worked.
Not bothered about his height as he can contribute in many ways and actually jumps well. Inked in right full back for me next season.0 -

I'll be honest, I was a bit worried when he came on. I thought he looked about 12 and as if a gust of wind would blow him over!
He did well though and I look forward to seeing more of him next year. As said above, needs to bulk up a bit.

Good with both feet which is a bonus. He will be a key player next year.0

when lionel messi had that problem they just got him on the growth hormones. ;0)

If there's one position where lack of height is less of an issue, then it's full back - true, eh, AFKA? ;-)
Agree he looks like Chris Perry's wee brother, and plays with a lot of heart too. Was very impressed with his calmness, esp considering he was playing on the left. Bailey and Youga both tried to cover/ back him up a lot to begin with, but almost to the point of getting in his way. Thought he did extremely well, and even got forward a couple of times too (including the build-up for the third).
Also felt Youga looked very good in the middle - gives us a few more options defensively next year.0 -
Reminded me a bit of Phil Warman...only a little fella but great spririt and determination.....once he's bulked out (as did Phil) he'll do ok I reckon.0

Youga surprised me at times, in the middle I was expecting at least one or two silly mistakes. He's regaining that confidence on the ball he had a year ago. Wasn't long ago he'd hoof the ball any time it was near him.0 -
I though Youga had a few dodgy moments in 2nd half when they tried to win via hign balls in the bos but he did OK.
Really pleased to see Solly have a long run out and in a game with no pressure. Seemed to have pace and a tackle even if the got twisted around a few times. Very promising and welcome number 40!0 -

Solly was the 40th player we've used this season. If you mean squad numbers, Tuna was 38, Solly 31.0

Been rteally impressed with Solly, both against Walsall and in the 2nd half v Swindon. As someone said on the ratings thread, it is a pity he is not left footed as he would possibly be ahead of Basey. Seems to have good attitude and for someone so inexperienced has given accomplished performances when called upon.0

Solly from what I've seen a few times has good potential to be a decent right back for us.
A blow to him that he got injured at the same time as Richardson otherwise he would've started, instead Omoususi came in on loan.0 -
Personally I think this lad has a great future in the game.
He is tenacious in the tackle and looks to be taylor made for a full-back - if maybe a little short
It's good to see another academy product and I have high hopes for this one. I just snapped him up on a 4 year deal on FM10 too0 -
Tipped by journalist Mike Calvin as one of ten to watch in the Football League in his 'Life's a pitch' website . He gets the Left Back thing wrong ,but he clearly is being seen as a top prospect .
