Behind the Scenes @ Sparrows Lane

Notice that Ashley Maynard-Brewer has rejoined us after his Olympic prep with Australia

Seems a bit silly that he'd come back only to disappear again in a week or two, at least he should get some involvement against Celtic you'd hope

Would be good to get some film of recent U18 games seeing as they're doing so well this season.
Actual meaningful football played by actual Charlton players.

Then perhaps some behind the scenes footage from the vegan kitchen at the training ground. What's not to like.

Great Work Olly and the Comms team for giving a flavour of the training ground at Sparrows lane.

Pleased you didn't show the water boarding of the slowest player in the sprints; Ben Watson is recovering though water is still coming out of his nose.
Jason Euell came first and JJ second but I believe the players were holding back a tad.

I'm a great advocate of talented young coaches because of the connection with the players but also by being just older than the senior guys earn respect by them and the younger guys who want to impress.

As we are 3rd tier it's right for a 39 year old ex player, captain, coach who lifted the League 1 trophy  silverware, and was coach to a team who came through the play offs to lift silverware to be given an opportunity.

There never felt any connection with the team between Adkins and the squad and now JJ can call the shots and go with his formation which will be two up front and attacking wing backs. He may adapt at times depending on opposition and who we have available.

I miss the days of Russell Slade painting the broom cupboard, Fraeye playing hide and seek in laundry baskets, and Adkins talking to random dog owners.

We always think there's a clever ploy then get told the reality...they're injured.

Reckon they've not shaked off their niggles myself.
