Idiot banner today

Anyone see that bed-sheet style banner that appeared from the North Upper before the game? I saw it from the window in Crossbars so could only make out the "1 Incompetent Board" slogan at the bottom. Congratulations to whoever yanked it down from the lower Tier. The idiocy of some of our fans to bring a banner calling the board incompetent is beyond belief.

because they really have shown themselves to be competent of late, If that is how someone chooses to show their discontent then fair play to them at least they are not following like lemmings

heard a few guys outside the North before the game singing 'We're sick of the Charlton Board', told them I wasn't. They didn't know what to say.

There was a fella in the away end holding up a "Thanks Delia, prudence with no ambition." banner.

Felt that was a bit harsh to be fair. I mean, what's she supposed to do - add a bit more garlic to her spag bol?

There was a banner raised in the Jimmy South saying "Following Charlton's Model" at the end of the game.

Nothing like coming to a game prepared for the worst.

Bit like our board: put a lot of money in and now the pot (see what I did there) is empty.

Fair play to them for doing something.

Doesn't make them right or anyone that disagrees lemmings though.

Certainly have if you compare with the main Norwich forum today, where they are demanding everyone associated with the club resigns or is sacked.

Whether we are too soft, or more realistic of the situation, i really don't know. Good things are rarely achieved off the back of protests and dummy-spitting though.

    The Banner read:

    5 Managers
    4 seasons
    3 divisions
    2 much debt
    1 incompetent manager
    0 excuses

That's actually quite good, regardless of whether I agree with it or not.

Anyone on here want to own up?

1 incompetent manager? Surely 4? but it does ruin the flow a little...

It was 1 incompetent board, not manager

''It was my mates banner but for some reason he wasn't allowed to hang it from the tier behind the goal, I have to ask him why that was?''

    The answer is:

People pay for advertising space and don't want it covered by a bed sheet
