Famewo: 9 - getting back to his best - which is very, very good indeed.
Dobson: 8 - What an import job he does breaking it up winning the ball and starting things
DJ: 9 - Ran himself into the ground. A constant stream of high quality balls into the box from him first half. Oustanding.
Gilbey: 9 Constant energy, up and down, goal threat important challenges. Does a bit of everything.
Lee: 9 Real quality from him yet again. We love him, he loves us. Do we have to wait until January before we make it permanent?
Purrington: 8 Best striker in the league. We play him at left back to confuse the oppo.
Davison: 7 I like this lad: energy, enthusiasm, moved the defence around well.
Washington: 8 We broke so quickly. Connor was a key part of that. Had a very good game: linked up well, took his chance.

MacG: 7.5 - a very good and important save in the first half. His confidence is growing - as well it might with 4 clean sheets in the last 5 gamesClare: 8 - solid and very composed. Hard to believe that was only his third game in that position (although Robinson did deploy him as a wing back at Oxford)Pearce: 8 - a classic Pearcey performance. His shoulder barge towards the end was one of the many highlights. That was all over a great performance and one I will admit I could not see that squad performing. I no idea how Jackson has turned players around from ones only 5 weeks ago I believed were just not good enough for us.0 -

Great game, fantastic atmosphere. Brought back memories of Premier League days. Glad we didn't mess it up this time. Hopefully will have tempted a few new fans back.
MacG: 7.5 Surprisingly didn't have too much to do, but crucial save first half.
Clare: 8 Excellent game. Looks solid at RCB.
Pearce: 8.5 Yet another captain's performance. Hope the injury isn't too bad.
Firmino: 8 Great game, but passing still a bit dodgy!
Dobson: 8.5 Excellent. Works so hard and has a surprising turn of speed.
DJ: 8 Fantastic first half. Ran their defence ragged. Ran out of steam, but not too surprising after the effort in the first half.
Gilbey: 8 Excellent. Love his bursts forward. Surprisingly fast when needed.

Purrington: 9 Fantastic game again. Looks so dangerous as a wing back and looks like scoring every game. Early player of the season candidate. What didn't Adkins get about Ben? First name on the team sheet at the moment for me.
Davison: 7 Worked hard, but doesn't look much of a threat. Needs more time.
Washington: 8.5 A bit quiet first half, but excellent second half. Always works so hard. Great finish.
Gunter: 8 Like many, I was a bit worried when he replaced Pearce, but thought he was very solid.
Referee: 7 Not bad. Mostly let the game flow.
Valley faithful: 11 Fantastic atmosphere. Must have seemed like having an extra player.
Burstow:n/a Great cameo. Looks confident and a real prospect. Hope we see more of him this season.
B-T: n/a Did fine as replacement for DJ, but not as much of a threat. However, the game situation had changed when he came on.
