  • Think it’s a one pint limit, north of the border.
Just don’t drink if you’re drinking.

And as he crashed into a tree, it's possible he drank more than 1.5 pints...
  • You're a professional footballer who had been paid very nicely.

    Pay for a f***ing taxi.

    Brainless.
There's also more than a few alcohol free beers available these days that aren't all that bad. Don't know why people would take the risk

    Wash your mouth out.

Heineken 0.0 is lovely straight out the fridge.

I've never got alcohol free beer.

I tend to drink alcohol to get pissed! If I'm driving I would rather have coke or orange juice because it tastes nicer!
Really? I like the taste of beers and some wines, that's why I used to drink it. I wouldn't drink something I didn't like just to get pissed. I think they call that alcoholism don't they?

Anyway, Charlie Adam is a wanker
  • Hopefully nobody was hurt and he gets a lengthy ban.

Alcohol free wine tastes like piss mixed with vinegar, vile.

    It's not good I agree

Some of the alcohol free beers are reasonable, Ghost Ship isn't bad, and Lidl do a reasonable (and good value) own brand wheat beer
  • Lucky Saint is the pick of the alcohol free beers for me

I've never tried non alcohol wine but if it doesn't taste very nice, I wouldn't drink it anyway, whether it's alcoholic or not. Point was, I thought Heineken 0.0 tastes quite nice as a non alcoholic lager and doesn't taste like lager mixed with water like other non alcoholic beers tended to in the past
  • AF beers are pretty decent these days.

I don't mind them, if you're going for a meal or whatever but one of you needs to drive then I'd rather them than endless coke or lemonade.
  • For me, out drinking = Uber

Oh sorry I wasn't having a dig, just saying that booze free wine is gross!

Used to love that drink. Shame it’s still not about in pubs anymore

I think it's meant to - being wet and all that!

Last place I knew they served it was Cons Club

Just saying I enjoyed the taste of it Bob, not just the alcoholic element

I’ve just seen that you can still get it….but in cans - won’t be the same. Last place I had a pint of it was the old post office in eltham. But that must have been a good 20 years ago.

I know, Rob - just me trying to be funny (and failing as usual!).
