    There was a Murder she wrote on our player tonight and he was wearing a cravat. I can’t remember him without one.

    The cravat is a much vilified and maligned piece of gentleman's apparel and I think that the late great Stewart Granger was an archetypal exponent of the wearing of such.

    I was between Apparel and Cravat for the 5th but as Cravat had been mentioned in a few other posts I thought it must have been apparel

    His name was James Stewart I think. There is a hotel in Bournemouth I have stayed in where he grew up.
