Look at that wicket!! Darren Stevens’ dream. (No this wasn’t taken a couple of days ago, only 30 minutes…)

Surprised Stokes fit and Bairstow not. Think we might regret that if we make Stokes injury worse and he's out for longer.

Burns very lucky to get one final shot at test cricket.
  • There’s encouragement for our bowlers out there .
We’re gonna skittle em for less than 250

Good to see the Warner of 2019 I'd still in there!

Gonna be tough to bat on this, particularly under lights.

Loads of false shots from the Aussies so far. Broad and especially Robinson bowling exceptional stuff.

Imagine what could have been if we had picked the right side and bowled first in the first test.

That first innings (and first ball) capitulation set the tone for things to come. I don't believe the gap in quality to be as huge as this series has made out. Yes they are better than us, even more do at home. But we made it so much harder for ourselves from the start.

England have 5 (FIVE!) slips in.

I feel bad for anyone in bed, this is the most fun 10 overs of the whole series so far.
  • Been on the bog for 2 hours (finished poooing an hour ago ) watching on iPad
I don’t think I’ll be able to get up of it

  • Crawley drops Labuschagne on 0.
Hopefully we don't live to regret this

Bad spacing in the slips perhaps to blame. Crawley dived across Root at first slip whereas if he was a bit wider he would’ve been able to let it go by.

Can’t be too unhappy though. Three edges caught so far: two by Crawley and one by Root.

Mark Wood looking like a bad bowling option on this pitch. Wonder if they’re regretting not including Anderson? Two overs bowled and getting pasted by both Labuschagne and Head.

It's all gone a bit soft. Ball suddenly doing very little and batting looking not comfortable but a lot easier than it did in the first hour
