Just sound like a normal bunch of young lads. Lets hope they stay that way. Jonjo, cracking sense of humour!

You go do one of their training sessions then!

SHELVEY: 'If you go out the night before a game and cost your team a goal, you let everyone down. It's work, it's your career. It's a bonus that there's good money in it. You've got to secure your future after football.'

Most common sense i've heard from a footballer.

Nice story....JJ is the only one playing regular 1st team football, so he is going to gain a lot more experience in the short term. They sound like a level headed bunch of lads....I wish them all well.

I did like the bit where Whiltshire says "i watch fabregas in training", Bostok pipes up "Modric is class" and Jonjo mentions that Matty Holland gives him a lift home!

Sounds like Matty is doing his bit to keep Jonjo here. Just hope they are both still here come next season...

bostock sounds like a confident lad! he's the best at pro evo, if he wasn't a footballer he'd be an athlete or a tennis player and hardly needs any driving lessons.
On Mondays, I'll sometimes stay out and do the afternoon session with the scholars or go in the gym and work on my power (he flexes his biceps and grins) but there hasn't really been much improvement there yet.'

that from jonjo made me laugh

Yeah good to here. He comes across as having that sort of attitude when he plays. Not like some of the other players we've had with talent that are happy to stay at the level they are. He also said if he wasn't a footballer he'd probably be working at McDonald's, seems to know how lucky he is and doesn't want to waste his career.

Good to hear about Holland, great for Shelvey and the other youngsters to have a model pro to look up to.

SHELVEY: 'If I want advice, I ask Matty Holland. He's scored in the World Cup finals and he's a perfect role model. I can't drive yet and when we go to away games at night, he'll take me home after. He's quality. I've got my test in June. We don't all drive A3s do we?' This is aimed at Wilshere.

Who needs to look up to Fabregas, etc ....... when you've got our very own Matty Holland?

Well Parky doesn't. He won't play him in the first 11, so I can't see the point keeping him to chauffeur Jon-Jo. If you want that I'll do it for a lot less.We can't afford to pay someone we won't play.
