ode to the season ( contains a few naughty words!)

At seasons end, here I sit
And yet again, my team were shit.

Another season has come to pass,
An It's really given me the arse.

In the beginning, we looked quite good,
I did think lads, you know, we could.

Promotion!, was the word we said,
We felt in our hearts,an in our head.

The Reading game,was a beautiful dream,
The players were one, we were a team!

But the very next game, Pards changed the ranks,
And quite simply lads, we fucking stank.

Then Wolves, Donny's an Forest too,
We were crap, we played like poo.

So we continued, in the same old vain,
The next 6 games, the results a shame.

The season went from bad to worse,
Shit, fuck, bollox, the words I cursed.

Then on the horizon, Zabeel looked to invest,
To open up there treasure chest!

Yeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssss!, we cried, we need the cash,
Go buy quality players, dosh to splash!

But alas, as we know, it went tits up,
Like a knife in the heart, we all felt the cut.

So then we waved, goodbye to Pards,
to take stock, and shuffle the cards.

The board made decisions, we could not believe,
Parky, they said, was the man we need.

NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!, we cried, the man's a twat,
how could they hire, such a useless prat.

No hope for us, with him in charge,
the club indeed, a sinking barge.

The seasons end, coudn't come to quick.
With relegation, I felt quite sick.

But next season, can be a brighter day!
A winning one, I hope and pray!
