    A nurse at my GPs gave me a blood test on a hunch, which resulted in a call from a GP who said my PSA level was 4.6 - the normal range is up to 4.5 - so I was referred for a biopsy. He said that if I was over 70 I wouldn't have been referred, which was a bit worrying because I was 70 in a few months. The long and short of it is that I have fully treatable prostate cancer and begin a course of radiotherapy therapy next month. Guys, go for the test especially if you are getting near 70!

    Just to clarify, over 70s would be referred but only with a much higher PSA level (7.0 rings a bell).

    In the west stand towards the Covered End.

    Access to the casino will be via West Stand main reception.

    Got the ok to bring Bailey up to The Valley for his final visit. 
    He’ll be collecting on behalf of Prostate Cancer along with young Freddie who attends the school our dogs work at. 
    I’ve got my test at 12.30 so I hope to be around the rear of the west stand from 1.00pm so if your about come and say hello to him.
