    Really sorry to hear @Bedsaddick
What I will say is that I've had cancer 3 times and - 11 years later (since the first diagnoses) am still around and still enduring the torture that is Charlton Athletic.  Mine wasn't pancreas but always in the throat area - such that I now have no Larynx - but can actully speak - sort of.  Thing is - you just have to get on with it.  As they say, shit happens, no good fretting about it or worrying "why me".  Just accept it happens and follow whatever treatment/advice they give you...treatment seems to be improving all the time.  Other thing I found is you just cannot rush the body - after chemo/radio therapy/ surgery - whatever they do it takes time to recover.  Take it easy - try and avoid stress (difficult as a CAFC fan!) and be patient.  With luck and a fair wind you will recover.  All the best.
May have you have another 11+ years on this planet.

Not comparing our problems in any way given the seriousness of yours, but I found being able to open up on here very cathartic. And the waves of genuine sympathy and support from fellow lifers were overwhelming and a great tonic to me and to my family. You should feel free and able to share anything you like as it unfolds. Don’t hold back if it helps you to cope.

Beds, you probably have read over and over about Pancreatic cancer, it's symptoms and outcomes but I can tell it can be beaten and if surgery is the option you can overcome that as well. I did know someone who had their Pancreas resected and the outcome for eighty per cent of patients is type one diabetes, the person in question was in the twenty per cent and did not develop Type one diabetes. You need a lot of support, you need to trust your doctors and you need to, as much as you can, keep your health, by that I mean after surgery eat healthily and concentrate on you and what's good for your body. My thoughts are with you mate.

Sat here in bed with the wife worrying about the world going to ruin and just saw your post. What utter shite news. Wife is going through the wringer today as her nephew signed up to the Swedish forces yesterday and her dad is ill in hospital tonight. He collapsed twice yesterday and went home from A&E and was found collapsed on the floor again today. Me and the wife have been planning to move to Sweden for a while, to look after him in his older years, but were expecting it to be later in the year, or next year. Now looks like it'll be very soon. Life has a habit of making plans for us that we'd rather not have received.

I know it might sound inappropriate Beds but if there's anything on your bucket list that you'd like to do, get it done. If it's anything you might need some help organising post it here, somebody is bound to know a route to getting it arranged.

Most of all, as others have said, we're all by your side every step of this unwanted journey.
Life is what happens to you whilst you are busy making other plans. 😏
