That was a good watch Ross, thanks for posting. Winning goal a little fortuitous I think.0

The only bit of that game that I remember was Petersons miraculous save. If that had been Peter Shilton etc they'd still be showing that on Match of the day2

That’s still the best save I’ve ever seen livecharltonbob said:The only bit of that game that I remember was Petersons miraculous save. If that had been Peter Shilton etc they'd still be showing that on Match of the day3 -
Aaaah the good old days when we were better than palace and not leagues below them

Thanks RebusMillwallFan said:2 -
Never was an 'overhead kick' so far from being being over the scorers head. It was the other side of the defender. Never mind though, I'm not complaining

What an absolutely dismal record:MillwallFan said:
And to make matter worse, I can't believe I missed the Silver Jubilee celebrations last year.1 -
Years gone by when we used to always be in a league or finish above the scum and at that fixture back then you could guarantee any number of scummy cnuts piping up in the home end
shamefully falling consistently below them in these last few years is a complete disgrace
and they could be two leagues above us for the first time in our history’s come next season …. Maybe even 3 !!!!1 -
Still laughing at how that season turned out for you! Top on boxing day!MillwallFan said:

Did the double over you that season, the time before that was 1935.MillwallFan said:
Just you wait until 2057, clever clogs...1 -
Yeah it still guts me. Only last night I was lying awake in bed, and thinking to myself, “do you know what, despite just winning five of our last 6 games in the championship, and drawing the 6th game, I’m still sad about getting relegated to what is now League 1…. 26 years ago.” 😉Friend Or Defoe said:

Enjoy Accrington Stanley on Saturday. I don’t think they was even in the league in 1996. 😁
oh, and we was 10th on Boxing Day that season3 -

I was only 94 then and full of juice.0

We hold the record on the longest unbeaten run of 35 years against you lot, fancy not winning your cup final for all that time.MillwallFan said:0 -

Looking at those results just drives you to despair.Stig said:

12 games since the last win. 5 draws & 7 defeats. In those 12 games we have failed to score in 8. EIGHT. 3 games we managed a solitary goal. The remaining game we happened to score 4. But were leading going into injury time & 10 man Millwall managed a last minute equaliser.
They really are our bogey team.2 -
The way we are going, we might not play Millwall again, let alone beat them.0
-
Bad challenge and a yellow card for Ben Watson (1.55). Some things never change.0
-
I will always remember that last year when we did the double over Millwall as I was working in Kent with a Millwall supporter who kept giving me stick over our results against them, he then left just before that season started, and I have never seen him since. arrrrrrrrrhhhhggg2

The record really is quite bizarre. Because although there are more one sided derbies around (the Merseyside Derby and the west London Derby between Fulham and Chelsea) it’s usually the bigger club who dominates the head to heads.golfaddick said:

They really are our bogey team. Now I don’t think you’re that much bigger than us as a club, (not as much as you lot would like to think anyway) but I would admit you ARE bigger than us. But your record v us is just appalling. Not just the last 26 years, but going back a 100 years.1 -
In the League, maybe. In the FA Cup, we're still 1-0 up.1
