The News of the World is claiming that former Everton midfield maestro Peter Reid is putting together a bid to buy Everton from current chairman and owner, Bill Kenwright.
The Goodison Park favourite is said to be advising London Nominees Ltd, a group who, according to their website are, "dedicated to the development, marketing and management of offshore investment funds that can be instantly identified by their unique nature and exceptional growth potential."
Now this isn't the apparent group apprently fronted by peter varney to take us over by any chance?
