In the 2004-5 season goalkeepers Ronald Waterreus and Nick Colgan faced each in an English league cup tie. Waterreus' Man City beat Colgan's Barnsley 7-1.
4 months later the two keepers faced each other again, but this time in a Scottish cup tie, Rangers v Dundee United. Waterreus' Rangers beat Colgan's Dundee United.........7-1.

That is astonishing.
