Palace
Millwall
Wednesday
Gillingham
Crewe
kind of stretching for the final 2 spots.
Gillingham just because they’re close and Crewe because there’s only one true CAFC.0 -
1. Palace2. Millwall3. Gillingham (I guess but don't know any of their fans so never felt a rivalry personally)
4. West Ham (always pissed off they took Defoe but it's a long time ago now and I liked them before and sort of do again!)
5. Liverpool (there isn't a 5th so why not them!)
In reality, for me, the only one that means anything is Palace.0 -
No contest.Millwall by a mile
Palace a poor second.5 -
1. Dartford. Always beat us and a better run club.
2. Ebbsfleet. Solly plays well for them.
3. Bromley. Tidy club and a lot of palace go.
4. Welling. Many Charlton fans have a split loyalty with welling.
5. Leyton orient. Very likely we will soon be in the same division. Certainly expect to be in the same division of at least one of the above within the next 3 years.0 -

Palace and Millwall equal first.

Wholly irrational. I suspect it’s because they beat us 3-0 ( or similar) when I went over there as a youngster. Colchester away was a similar experience.Stig said:

Rent free!!PopIcon said:Millwall are such a pointless club. The Barnsley of London. Crappy ground, shite crowds, never won anything, spent about five minutes in the top tier and the supporters are peasants.
Actually, they're worse than Barnsley as at least they've won the FA Cup.
I don't consider them rivals, they are a nothing club.

I don't lurk, either. I'm quite visible.
Anyway, the service charge will be increasing from the start of next season.0 -
Millwall - scum
Palace - scum
Chelsea - going back years battle of the bridge and setting fire to the covered end
Gills - not really a rival, just hate the pikey's
West Ham - toss up between them and Spurs, suppose the whole Defoe stuff, and then them staying up that year under Curbs and we went down and never recovered.0 -
1. Millwall. They're local. They usually beat us.
2. Palace because of the Selhurst years. They are the great appropriators. Their kit, their 'ultras', even their name was previously used by a club they now try to claim heritage from.
3. The original Wimbledon. Always horrible.
Never cared about Gillingham and not old enough to hate Woolwich Arsenal. I've probably been annoyed by most teams that beat us over the years but Millwall and Palace are the only two I look out for to see if they've lost of a Saturday.

The original Wimbledon would have been one, but it's hard to be bothered about the new club in the same way.0 -

City's list betrays the nouveau riche nature of some of their new supporters. Ridiculous to have Liverpool top, as that has no historical basis, and is simply because Liverpool happen to have a good team at the moment.1

I agree - historically it should be Bolton or Accrington Stanley!killerandflash said:City's list betrays the nouveau riche nature of some of their new supporters. I just find their fan base more grating and smug. And growing up they always seemed to get spawny results against us.bobmunro said:

Most Millwall fans I know would say the same as well. Palace would edge it over Charlton. That’s not to say you’re not rivals in any way. You’re certainly local rivals, and our games are always eagerly anticipated, just like any Derby is, and they always sell out (like we do when we play palace, and leeds funny enough).Anyone who says Millwall Charlton isn’t a rivalry is talking shit in my eyes. It’s just not as intense as our one v West Ham, and even leeds, for obvious reasons5
