    Never wish injury on people but it would be proper funny if Fabinho, Alison and Salah all miss the champions league final and Liverpool only end up winning the league cup.

    Salah goes off with an injury, with an eye on the CL final presumably. He's not been great by his standards since AFCON anyway

    Something always grates me when commentators talk about the number of games the likes of the top six play. 

    I mean its not like they don't have the beauty of squad depth and have to play the same eleven every week.

    But it explains why the top players get knocks as you get to the business end. 
    60+ games for players and the African Nations for Salah and Mane were they both reached the final.

    Why does the sun cause so many issues for the TV cameras at the new Wembley? I thought the pitch is in exactly same orientation as the old Wembley pitch.

    All of the FA cup final's KO were 3pm, at the old Wembley.

    The old Wembley had a far lower roof also, and further back from the pitch

    I thought the reason they no longer kick off at 3 is because the sun would affect the whole match if they did. I think they should put the kick off back another 45 mins.

    I’m setting myself up here, but really do not rate Mount. I wouldn’t have him starting for England at all. As you say, he goes missing when it really matters. 

    Of course, he scores the winner today and has a stormer in the World Cup now.

    Bit harsh to say Mount always goes missing. Scored a cracker in Madrid did he not? Also one of Chelsea’s most consistent attacking threats this season. Agree he isn’t that high up the list of England starters though.

    Mount usually is good when other players are marked out of the game and he has more space. 

    When a team is set up to stifle him, he doesn't really have the quality to run a game anyway.

    I agree he’s a decent footballer but nothing special. I kind of feel similar about Grealish whereas I feel players like Sterling, Foden and Kane have that big of magic in them. Mount is just a decent footballer and works hard for the team which is why managers like him. I think he goes missing in the big games purely because the opposition are stronger than the usual ones.

    Have to say - what superb weather today - took dogs to 5 Arches this morning, and then this afternoon took Lady Flash and the dogs for a couple of pints to the Leather Bottle in Cobham - back of the net 😃
