I would like Michael Carrick.1

Can there be a separate thread for the debate on Women's football? This thread is about replacement 1st team manager.
Or is that being sexist?
Gordon Bennett!!!1 -

Some have managed me okay, some have managed me brilliantly one was a incompetent disaster. Nothing to do with a biological difference.
On a side note the only man who ever managed me for any period of time was a crystal palace supporting acholic bully.
Biological differences between men and women cor blimey wheres is the cave man mallet.1 -

Not quite sure what Robbie Fowler has ever done to warrant any mention for any manager job. Is he even a coach anywhere?0

Beale slipped into 2nd favourite, not convinced BV have any insider info, just responding to the news cycles. Still Taylor for me.1 -

Frank de Boer and Ronald de Boer.
Frank's ambition to play entertaining football in South London remains a true ambition and this isn't Peter Pan in never Netherlands. This is a man who hates Palace for not giving him time and refuses to play Boering football.
Not about money, but about cleaning up Charlton Athletic who were left with dirty stains after Southall and co left skid marks that lingers.
Frank and Ronald would use the Ajax brand to give CAFC a bright future.
We would see double with the De Boer twins; (buy one, get one free) auto Promotion and Wembley winners in the Papa John's trophy- not in four seasons but one.
The futures bright, The futures Orange.0 -

So no more talk of Emma, Ben or Anthony.
All 3 are sent to room 101.

Thomas has "about half a dozen" candidates that he is now narrowing down.12

Be delighted with Taylor, Beale or Warburton. Most of the other names are very very underwhelming9

If I was to guess - Beale , Taylor, Carrick and a couple of surprise options , maybe Appleton?1

There's really no excuse for this dragging on past Friday at the latest.0

TS would never hire anyone from the 'Women's' game. He has openly stated he thinks of himself more as a 'Ladies' man.10 -

I can imagine conversation were perhaps sort with Beale* and maybe even Carrick. But otherwise I am clueless as to who else may be actively shortlisted after applying for the role.
*I feel like Beale wouldn't apply for the role, and would need to be convinced to leave his current role. If he had been done, I could imagine he would have been announced by now.1 -
Clock is ticking, Euell and co must be putting pre season plans together, surely new manager will want to have a say.1
