For me it’s because I think he is on the way down as a manager and maybe some personal issues that might impact him as a manager. 

You’d think that if these things are true then there’s no way he’ll get the job. Or am I being naive, and far too trusting of the selection set up?

Edit: having read the above posts on this I’d be very very surprised if he get the job.

There's this mentality that annoys me in the pundits, players and coaches who have commented saying that when Jackson came in he was expected to be in a relegation fight. He wasn't. He certainly started off in one, and it's never easy to push out of that but this was a team that was expected to be pushing for promotion. Granted the recruitment wasn't good enough to be challenging right at the top, but are our players really that much worse than, say, Plymouth's? I don't think so. Jackson didn't come in to a relegation squad in the relegation places, he came in to find an ok squad playing much worse than it should have been, briefly had them performing well and then saw them return to being pretty rancid again. It's not like he turned a bunch of cheap no-hopers into a mid-table team and then got sacked harshly, he failed to get this team properly firing and then gave Sandgaard a decision to makeover whether he would back him heavily next season. You can have your own opinion on whether that should have happened, but I think it's a weirdly complacent attitude people like Curbs have praising Jackson for not getting relegated when that was so far below expectations.

Lennon, Beal, Taylor and JFH are all working.  The only unemployed manager there has even been a wif of was/is Warburton and he was working when Jackson got the tin tac.

It's possible but I am sure if that was the case it would have leaked by now.  Too many people would know.

Going to be Jason Euell at this rate isnt it.

I know it’s getting frustrating for people who are thinking it’s taking a while, but I’m quite enjoying the fact that no one outside of the process, seemingly has a clue who it’s going to be. Cawley has said that Taylor and Beale are both under consideration I believe, but that’s all that has been suggested.
