It’s the year 2030. Charlton have just completed the Derby double over Dulwich Hamlet as Thomas proclaims the road to the Prem starts here.Themightyath2 said:I think everyone needs to cut TS some slack.
We have a club to support thanks to him, no one else. Forget Barclay, he didn’t want to get involved without the assets, so TS was the only option and we all owe him a massive thanks.Has he over promised, has he made mistakes - yes, but who hasn’t.For the last 15 years, this club has been poorly run, so we need to forget the “that’s not the way we do things at Charlton mindset”.
He genuinely wants to build something here, so let’s get behind him, ride out the good with the bad, and be grateful that we’ll have a competitive club to support come the start of the season.
Just because we were mixing it in the premier league once, does not mean we have a right to do so again. Look at Oldham!
Honestly I can’t deal with this anymore. He saved the club doesn’t mean he (or anyone else) is immune to criticism. It’s beyond parody.9 -
Ryan Walker…..who he?0

I’m sorry but this post is all hypothetical to come to a suitable narrative, is his son in authority and the cause of anything wrong yet? We haven’t had anything happen to judge whether he has done good or bad, nobody complained at the time of hiring various people and so opinion has been based on hindsight. Do we all want him to do well? because as I see it any opportunity to dig him out is being taken? The attitude of I’ll support him if he does what I think he should, is selfish, shallow and boring .Phil said:I don’t think Sandgaard has played a blinder. Appointing his son and giving him authority in a position where he lacks expertise and experience is already looking a poor decision. The CW incident alone is clear evidence of that. It’s widely believed that Junior and perceived interference has cost us a couple of candidates.
His record in hiring and firing at the club is atrocious. This ongoing saga does little to change that.
We all want him to do well and thereby, the club in turn. However, he doesn’t appear ready and willing to learn from mistakes. That doesn’t bode well.9 -

Oh come on mate we all know he was 100% responsible for everything shite. Jj would have been great if he was allowed to pick the team and formation, everyone knows TS & MS are picking the team, deciding what hot dogs are on sale, intact every single thing is decided purely by those two because they are both devils children 🙄🙄🙄🙄Themightyath2 said:

He's only ever worked for his Dad! He'll only ever work for his Dad. He has no need to lie on linked in.....Scoham said:
Wouldn’t call it lying, it’s not uncommon for some people to not show every job title separately and instead display their current/final title at each company they’ve worked for.supaclive said:
You mean he has lied on his Linked In as well. Or did TS only make an official announcement when somebody was going to let it be known first?Scoham said:
Despite what his LinkedIn says he was only officially appointed Director of Analysis in December 2021. We know hesupaclive said:

Has he? Are you sure? 18 months?supaclive said:

That doesn’t bode well.

Genuinely interested. But lying on linked in when all you've ever done is work for Daddy......6 -
I think and hope he was refering to the ownership of the club and how it was run..maybe!!..DamoNorthStand said:
What?????? We are more shit now than at any point in the last 13 years.Themightyath2 said:
But was had he done so badly in the last two years, when you consider how shit we were for the 13 years beforehand.DamoNorthStand said:
It’s beyond parody. He doesn’t have a magic wand!I can’t deal with this attitude anymore. Easy to slag someone off when it’s not your money that you’re having to pump in season after season.Let’s list out his mistakes…
1) He’s made some bold claims which he shouldn’t have done
2) He underestimated the league and we were slow out of the blocks last season
3) No one should play the guitar on the pitch
What else?
A period that included signings such as Cullen, Bielik, Gudmundsson, Buyens, Bulot, Texeira, Taylor, Bauer etc.
Championship football (even under the owner we had). Play off promotions.0 -
Wasn’t a problem when Jackson was caretaker, and don’t give me the we didn’t have strikers for however long, because the missed hatfuls when they played aswell. If Jackson had continued how he began , nobody would be questioning what MS was doing.thenewbie said:
Well part of the problem is that we have not recruited very well which no doubt made things harder for Jackson regardless of other failings.paulfox said:
So he is the reason for Jackson and the players being shit?supaclive said:

He is PART of the system that has failed. So while it's not fair to say he is the whole and entire reason for a poor season he very much is PART of the reason.0 -
He's been doing it unofficially ever since TS bought Charlton......Scoham said:
Agree it’s clear he’s become more involved over time.Cafc43v3r said:
He was definitely involved last summer, all be it informally. Well as informal as you can be being the son of the owner.Scoham said:
