Why deny it so publicly? Whether it is true or not. I am incredibly confused.5

She really shouldn’t be getting involved like this on twitter ??? what in the housewife’s of Cheshire have we become ?5

England are playing Israel later. Wave your flag and cheer on England.
No apologies from me for advertising football on a football forum.
Enjoy.1 -

One fan really isn't impressed with the upcoming appointment5 -
What a bizarre situation, where we have updates about a managerial appointment from the spouse of the owner25

That’s proper odd. No reason to get involved if it’s anything like close to being completed.Only thing I can think of is that Garner is Plan B and they’re waiting on a decision from Plan A. They don’t want to upset Plan A by having it known they’re dealing with someone else. Even that isn’t particularly plausible1

One thing life at Charlton isn't - and that's dull. (Except for the football for years).5 -
There is no way that Cawley, a Swindon journo, Talksport and even the athletic all report the garner news and it be false14
-
I just wish TS and his Missus would stop commenting on social media, it’s totally unnecessary and it will make them look like right plums when Garner is eventually announced.

Lets go round again
Maybe we'll turn back the hands of time
Lets go round again
One more time....3 -
It all sounds like an episode of Soap.
Just without the aliens.......3 -

Raelynn is adamant that no manager has been signed.1

Good for Raelynn replying to Rich Cawley like that. Cawley can report what he likes and nobody can stop him but the owners can reply how they see fit. Like Henry says, WIOTOS.10

At this stage I think it’s very unlikely not to be Ben Garner. Raelynn is I assume undeniably correct in that no manager has signed but at this stage it’s semantics.34 -

Quantum physics can explain the situation very simply. At any given moment Garner has both signed and not signed. The more he has signed the less he has signed and obviously vice versa. I don’t get all the confusion.9

I just don't understand why this cannot be completed without the use of social media beforehand unless it's to issue a formal statement (which I don't believe would achieve anything anyway).
Why are either of them having weird bilateral exchanges which don't appear necessary or appropriate?
Let's just sign up a manager, announce it, and get on with getting out of this poxy division.10
