Sure it will be this week not ITK but just makes sense and the timing for preparation for the new season not impacted in a negative way. Just chill absolutely no need for the panic and vitriol of some on here1

Sounds like the imminent word could be appropriate.Sandergaard is in the country so it should be announced soon. As before. Garner is a done deal and they are dotting I's and crossing t's on the other two. Compo debate on going but not miles apart.

i’m predicting tomorrow now , my personal feeling is it’s been agreed weeks and hopefully a lot of planning and preparation has already been going on behind the scenes. I know Thomas and his mrs denied claims it’s a done deal but i really think the only reason it wasn’t a done deal was because he wasn’t here in person to sign it all off0

I think that's the consensus but how much there is to haggle over is unclear. These guys are unlikely to be on £100k pa, so the negotiation will probably be in the £10ks. Obviously you want the best deal, but relative to the football budget it's not going to be a huge difference.17

I think she wanted to show via a tipsy night on the wine why the Club does not need a Ceo!1

What’s interesting to me is everyone seems to be giving TS a real hard time over the length of time this is taking, but what if it’s purely down to the swindon mob asking for unrealistic compo? Is TS supposed just pay it and do himself out of a couple of hundred k for no reason , or play the waiting game, I know what i’d do if it was my money7

Drama queens a plenty in our fanbase. To me that makes TS/RM completely right.
If all aspects of the agreement have not been finalised it is clearly not a done deal.
You can sign a contract to buy a house, but if the carpet and curtains you agreed were to be included are not there, the deal is off. You would be perfectly within your rights to walk away, and so can Garner.
Maybe it would have been better if Cawley had used a few more words to describe exactly his understanding in the first place. Something along the lines that a deal had been agreed subject to his back room staff coming with him.8 -

Let’s see where we are at the end of the week22 -
We sack Adkins (and have to pay him off) and then JJ who, in a matter of days, gets another job (but there is no compo due). We then have to wait weeks and weeks to get someone we want as his replacement with the issue being the level of compo.
Perhaps it is the cost of and lack of return for our most recent managers that irks the businessman that is TS and explains his reluctance to pay what Swindon demand. And why he rubbishes the story released by journos that we have signed Garner because he wants the deal done on his terms and until that happens he doesn't want anyone else announcing it.4 -

Let’s see where we are at the end of the week
2) Recruitment team are doing what exactly? No player will sign without a manager in place and who's to say any new manager will want them?
3) To think we are not behind other teams in the league in terms of preparation is naive.

As I said on my one and only previous post on this thread, if, technically, nothing had been signed then the deal is not done!
Bit like when a house is sold....a big SOLD sign goes up...in the small print underneath it nearly always says Subject to contract.
Crawley has the right to publish what he knows, but he may not have known about any sticking points. It simple really!9 -
I was at the Valley today and when I left at 3.00pm there was a big meeting of suits going on in Chairman's suite.
And Thomas's car was in the car park.
I can't tell you anymore as I'd have to kill you I don't know anything else.
But the museum is looking very good.20 -

If people think a compensation negotiation about two second-tier employees is about hundreds of thousands then fair enough, but from their status and my knowledge of TS's other staffing negotiations I'd say it is more likely to be about tens of thousands and that doesn't justify taking two weeks to resolve, still less voiding the whole deal and starting again.7
