    He's been linked quite strongly is on a free plays in a position we desperatly need players in, and has played (last season) in League 1

    It's rubbish. Even if we do sign some of them it's down to someone just putting the players we've been linked with on there.

    Either people 'having a laugh', too eager to update something or they're just a bit weird. As said anyone can edit wiki, you don't even need to register to edit I don't think.

    Jamie Green was mentioned on here or Addickted the other day, then someone found that he had recently signed a new contract with his club.

    Jermaine Beckford for example - ridiculous, no way can we afford him.

    There's also no way we'll sign Ward, Llera and Clarke until we know if Fortune will sign a new contract and Hudson is playing. None of them are going to come here happy to be back up.

    Not sure about his usefulness at right back for us, think this position is sorted, perhaps if he is adaptable enough he might battle his way to the left back position, though the competition is fierce. Is he committed enough to play a few months for the reserves in behind closed doors friendlies to test his ability against lewes town defenders? I doubt it and for those reasons I don't think he will join us, though I would be happy to be proved wrong, despite man utd whining about us trying to poach their contracted players being against the spirit of the game.
